The Curaçao International Film Festival Rotterdam welcomes journalists and media representatives to cover the festival.
The fourth edition of the five-day event Curaçao International Film Festival Rotterdam is approaching and will take place from 25 March through 29 March, 2015. In addition to the wide variety of international ‘cutting edge’ non-mainstream films, documentaries and ‘shorts’, the festival program offers the Yellow Robin Award competition for talented emerging filmmakers from the region, an educational project, a local short movie competition and photography competition, workshops, poetry, music and lectures.
1. ACCREDITATION GENERAL
Accreditation is intended for journalists working in the field of arts and culture in general and film in particular. Accreditation is only granted to professionals who wish to cover the festival on assignment by acknowledged media.
2. USE ACCREDITATION PASS
Your accreditation pass is required to be admitted to various activities, premiere screenings, and press conferences during the festival. Accreditation is strictly personal and non-transferable to others. The organization reserves the right to withdraw issued accreditation and confiscate the pass and/or wristband in case of its abuse. The proof of accreditation cannot be replaced during the festival in the event of theft or loss, and will only be valid for this festival edition.
3. APPLY FOR ACCREDITATION
Use the official form to apply for accreditation. You must fill out the application form in full; all fields are required. Incompletely filled out forms will not be processed. The deadline to apply for accreditation is 1 March 2015. Any application received after this date will no longer be processed.
4. POLICY RE. FREELANCERS
Freelancers will only be granted accreditation if they work in assignment by acknowledged media and meet all other requirements. See also item 1.
You will be notified no later than 19 March whether you have been accredited or not and where you may collect your pass.
6. PROOF OF MEDIA COVERAGE
The organization asks you to send printed and/or audiovisual proof(s) of your Curaçao IFFR 2015 coverage after publication as soon as possible.
Renewal of accreditation is based, in part, on the receipt of proof(s) of your coverage.
