After a botched bank robbery lands his younger and mentally disabled brother Nick (Benny Safdie) in prison, bank robber Constantine ‘Connie’ Nikas (Robert Pattinson) needs to do everything he can to keep him from being sent to Riker’s Island prison. He embarks on a twisted odyssey through New York City’s underworld to try and come up with the bail money. Over the course of one adrenalized night, Connie finds himself on a mad descent into violence and mayhem as he races against the clock to save his brother and himself, knowing their lives hang in the balance.

A hypnotizing crime thriller about family and fate from independent NYC filmmaking duo Josh and Benny Safdie. Good Time premiered at Cannes Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Palme d’Or and won the Award for Best Soundtrack.

Hun werk heeft hen meerdere FIPRESCI’s, Independent Spirit en Gotham Awards opgeleverd. Hun films zijn over de hele wereld uitgebracht en gingen in première op internationale filmfestivals als Cannes, Venetië, Toronto, Locarno, Sundance en SXSW. In 2014 startten ze samen met Sebastian Bear-McClard en Oscar Boyson Elara Pictures.
