The latest Wes Anderson film that opened the film festival of Berlin is the closing film of the third edition of Curaçao IFFR on Sunday 6 April.
The Grand Budapest Hotel tells the adventures of Gustave H (Ralph Fiennes) a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa (Tony Revolori), the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend.
Lovingly composed tableaus, immaculately designed uniforms for both soldiers and hotel bellboys, and time travel. A true gem of a film that no festival goer may miss.
Before the feature the short film, also by Anderson, Castello Cavalcanti, is screened.
One screening only! Sunday 6 April at 22:15. Tickets can be purchased at the Central Box Office of The Cinemas.
Best of the Fest
For the final day of the festival three timeslots have been reserved to bring back the Best of the Fest, most popular screenings. With four sold-out screenings of opening film Qissa, it is only logical to bring back Anup Singh’s touching drama back once more. Sunday 6 April at 19:45.
