With the traditional Preview screening of the French film L’amour est un crime parfait (Love is the Perfect Crime) on Thursday 20 March in festival location The Cinemas, the organization of Curaçao IFFR gives a taste of what can be expected for the third edition that will take place from 2 April – 6 April.

In L’amour est un crime parfait from the brothers Arnaud and Jean-Marie Larrieu, the life of a womanising professor (Mathieu Amalric) gets even more complicated when a pretty student disappears. Her beautiful stepmother (Maïwenn), his eccentric sister and a fanatical fan put on the pressure in a stunningly beautiful Hitchcock-like thriller with morbid humour.

L’amour est un crime parfait screens in The Cinemas on Thursday 20 March at 20:00. The film is in French and is subtitled in English.

FESTIVAL PROGRAM

The Preview screening is also the big moment when the official Opening Film of 2 April and the complete film schedule and other activities during the festival week are announced. This year the Jury Award winning films of the local Short Movies, BIG Stories will also be announced.

Ticket Sales for the festival screenings start on Saturday 22 March at 12:00. Tickets can be purchased at the Central Box Office of The Cinemas.
